Joining Ginny's Yarn Along, sharing what I'm knitting and reading.
It's rainy here today. Bracken and I went out to dump the compost this morning and we got soaked, which he loved. Then I went out to get a quick picture of my knitting. Remember that sock I started for Jeff? I frogged them awhile ago because I didn't have the right size knitting needles and decided to wait. So Jeff made me some new knitting needles. He made them extra long, just like I like them (easier for car knitting, less likely the stitches will fall off the needle.) I cast on again in excitement that I was finally going to be making socks! Then I realized the needles he made me were the same size as the ones I was originally knitting with, which made us laugh. Oh well, I'm knitting them anyway.
I'm knitting both socks, so when it comes time to turn the heel, I can do it on both while it's still fresh in my mind.
As for reading, I'm almost finished with the last issue of The Mother magazine that I was gifted. I usually read a few articles before bed. Then tell Jeff about them the next day.
We went to the library this week. We hadn't been there in a long time. I love going there. It makes me so happy and inspired. There's so much I want to learn about... so many books I want to read. As always, I checked out a large stack of books in my excitement, at the same time knowing I won't be getting to them all. That's alright, just seeing them makes me happy.
How about you? Knitting? Reading?
