Using clay on the face is well known for being good for the skin; it pulls toxins out and leaves it softer, revitalized and glowing. But did you know that clay is also great for bug bites? If you apply it fairly quickly after a bite, it will pull the "poison" out and the itching will vanish! It works amazingly well! If you wait awhile before applying it, the clay will still reduce the itching, but the sooner you apply it, the better it works.
You can also use clay as an all natural sunscreen (as long as you don't mind looking like a goo creature in your garden.) Covering yourself with it is healing for the whole body. That's why we like to have yearly clay days and become happy clay creatures each summer.
Whenever I use clay, I can feel it's healing effects so profoundly, that it leaves me in awe.
There are lots of different kinds and colors of clay, from all over the world. A great place to purchase clay is Mountain Rose Herbs.
What do you use clay for?
What are your favorite kinds?
