Throughout the week I've felt grateful for:

-Witnessing afternoon sunlight shining through nasturtium petals, making them glow.
.
-Figuring out how to do the html box to share the new Gratitude Sunday button. I had been wanting to do that for so long.
.
-Seeing some of you put the Gratitude Sunday button up on your blogs! That made me so happy to see. Thank you.
.
-Harvesting mullein flowers for the first time. Planning on making some ear oil. Love experimenting with new herbal recipes.
.
-Some meals that made us feel rich. Vegetables from the garden, salmon from friends, goat and pork from Deck Family Farm, morels and cilantro from farmer's market.
.
-How simply some fresh pressed lemon in a glass of water felt like such a treat. (And then discovering how good it was in some herb tea cold from the fridge too. Mmmm.)
.
-A little rain. Even though all the clothes on the line got wet (oh well- they dried out later), the garden got watered and that was great.
.
-Loving my boys so so much.
.
-Really digging seaweed in homemade broth.
.
-How good blueberries from our own bushes taste.
.
-Crocks filled with fermenting goodness- sauerkraut, pickles, and some beet kvass. We did a lot of fermenting!
.
-Synchronicity. Being at the right place at the right time and running into a neighbor.
.
-Being so happy to see Bracken when he woke up from a long nap. Even though I was next to him the whole time (and it was nice to have some focused work time), I missed him.
.
-My mom leaving a silly message on the answering machine and that kept me laughing for a long time afterward.
.
-Walking around the yard barefoot when I was feeling drained one afternoon and having it energize me.
.
-Not being able to help but smile. I was tired and grouchy and didn't feel like smiling at all, but Jeff and Bracken were just being so cute together I couldn't help myself. Magically my mood started lifting.
.
-Bracken being so snuggly, affectionate, and sweet with hugs that melt us and kisses that melt us. He's a love.
.
-My mom's birthday today and knowing I get to celebrate it with her when she visits us next weekend! Happy Birthday Mama! I love you so much!
